For the "Scrambled_Bites" project, which enabled the initial software development, the coordinate data was transmitted to the Scrambled Bites server for further use in data driven installations, like Art's Birthday 2004.

The hardware consists of a G3 powerbook containing the soundfiles, the GPS receiver and an 8 channel-audio-out USB audio device.This device connects directly via RCA cabling to the three 2channel/100watt car-audio-amplifiers, which in turn drive 2 speakers each.
