When I was in Thailand 2005 I nearly became a movie star. I could not go to the shooting because I had an appointment down south in the city of Chumphon. So director Werner Herzog had to do without me. He had done the very same story as a documentary anyway. Later I heard that Christian Bale really got into it, method style, like losing a lot of weight for the role. Everybody (man) seems to get into this jungle thing. Re: Apocalypse.

Side note: The dollar signs on the image has several references. For one it is intentional and shows the dreams of material wealth that is commonly associated with being a successful actor. The fact that they are rotated 90 degrees gives this reference an ironic or twisted sense. Finally it shows the inability of my computer system to just scan the historic document, forcing me into using an unpaid version of some commercial software which in turn reminds me of its presence by said dollar signs.
